In my opinion, there are many positive aspects of public transportation for society. First of all, public transportation is cost-effective for people living in urban areas. By this, I mean that individuals who cannot afford to buy a car can rely on public transport as an alternative way to travel.
For example, many people choose buses or metros because transportation costs are much lower than using private cars. Another advantage of public transportation is that it helps reduce traffic congestion and stress in society. If everyone owned and used private cars, traffic jams would be unavoidable.
For instance, in countries where public transportation is widely used, traffic congestion is generally lower.
In conclusion, I believe that public transportation is extremely beneficial for the community for the reasons mentioned above.
