The diagram illustrates the process of manufacturing clothes from bamboo. Overall, there are 9 stages of fabric production, starting from planting, followed by harvesting, cutting, crushing, filtering, spinning and weaving steps, and ending with ready-to-use fabric.
At the beginning of the process, bamboo plants are planted in spring to harvest them in autumn later. Once the bamboo is harvested, they are delivered to a factory to be cut into strips by special mechanisms.
Following this, the strips are crushed to extract liquid pulp from them. Subsequently, the extracted liquid is filtered to get long fibres, which are converted to soft fibres by adding water and amine oxide to them. The procedure comprises the last three phases, which happen with the processed material.
The material undergoes spinning to produce yarn. Once the yarn is made, fabric is manufactured by weaving the yarn. As a result of the whole process, customers get new clothes.
