The diagram illustrates the process of manufacturing leather products in the complex zone. Overall, the production involves three main stages, namely delivery to a factory, exposing an animal skin to various liquids and preparation of the leather for sale.
Notably, the process includes only mechanical operations.
In the first stage, the animal skin is hung to dry in open space, next a dried skin is delivered to the factory for further processing. In the next stage, the skin is washed in water and lime mixture.
Following this, the skin is soaked in lime and is flattened on a special machine. Once the skin has been soaked in tannin, it is then polished on a machine. Finally, the skin is shipped to a factory for preparing ready product such as shoes, a bag and others items.
