In the fast-paced world, it is widely believed that the only reason people work hard is to earn more money. Also, there are not any reasons to do it. I partly agree with this idea; while working hard in order to make money is one of the ubiquitous reasons, there are other numerous reasons people work hard, such as socialization, satisfaction, community contribution, and skill and personal development.
On the one hand, some people claim that one of the major reasons to go to work is to be motivated by money. A lot of individuals attempt to meet financial demands by working. Also, there are not any individuals who work for free. There is always pay, and this is usually the primary goal. According to research, money is the main reason people get out of bed in the morning in order to go to work. Additionally, everything has its cost in the long run. This is especially due to the high cost of living, products, and goods. People want to live in a utopia with money by working.
That means money plays a pivotal role in every aspect of life; without it, individuals cannot attempt to make a living. On the other hand, except for earning money, there are other various reasons to work hard. Firstly, there are some people who work for socialization and satisfaction. This means they are engaged in their work because it offers a chance to socialize and have self-fulfilment. There is a saying that says that "if you are satisfied with your work, you do not work". Secondly, some people desire to contribute to the community. This implies that tasks are not only for individuals' advantage; they also enable you to assist others. Also, individuals put in the effort to participate in and support their communities, which helps them to gain recognition. Finally, numerous people work to develop their skills and achieve personal growth. A person's job can offer a chance to develop intellectually and socially. It is a method for achieving goals by gaining new knowledge and abilities.
Thus, skills and abilities distinguish workers and offer the best position in a workstation. Employers will be willing to pay well when they see you have the right skill set beneficial to their company. In conclusion, although it is considered that earning money is the primary reason to work hard, there are other essential reasons such as job pleasure and socialization, community contribution, and skill and personal development. From my perspective, there should be balanced approach towards all of the reasons. It is recommended to consider all the reasons for individuals.
