Living in large cities can have negative effects on people’s health. I fully agree with this statement because air pollution and long working hours can cause serious health issues in people’s lives.
On the one hand, one of the most harmful problems in the world is air pollution, which most people are already familiar with. The main reason for this is the large number of vehicles and factories that release high levels of carbon dioxide (CO₂). As a result, many residents may suffer from illnesses such as asthma and other respiratory diseases.
On the other hand, many people nowadays work without sufficient breaks due to tight deadlines. If they do not complete their tasks on time, they may lose their jobs because the number of job seekers is higher than the number of available jobs. Consequently, people may develop health problems such as poor eyesight, constant fatigue, or even falling asleep during working hours. In conclusion, I strongly agree that these problems can put people’s health at serious risk, especially for those living in large cities.
